Move once. Prove it. Switch off overlap.
- 01
Export the list and status you intend to use
Open Contacts > Lists, choose the relevant list, select the contact status, and export the fields you need. ActiveCampaign includes standard contact data, status, tags, subscription dates, custom fields, and scores in the CSV; contact notes are not exportable.
- 02
Export every contact state
Download Active, Unsubscribed, Bounced, and Unconfirmed records. Upload the CSV files together; AttuneMail combines duplicates, makes blocked states win, and includes the result in the import review. Preserve subscription dates, source context, and any permission evidence your team relies on.
- 03
Choose what AttuneMail will own
Move campaign-email ownership to AttuneMail using reusable templates, hosted signup forms, landing pages, guarded campaign rules, recipient review, authenticated sending, and delivery reporting. List CRM, behavioral, SMS, scoring, or webhook jobs separately only if your business actively uses them.
- 04
Import and prove the complete path
Create an AttuneMail contact list, confirm permission, and choose the useful fields in the email composer. If the campaign uses a form or landing page, build and publish it in AttuneMail. Generate a representative batch, review every variation, verify your sending domain, and run a small send before pausing the overlapping ActiveCampaign campaign.
AttuneMail imports safely
- Active contact rows and the exported standard or custom fields
- Tags, list name, scores, and subscription dates included in the CSV
- Approved copy and brand assets you use in AttuneMail templates and pages
- Permission evidence plus unsubscribe, bounce, complaint, and unconfirmed exports that AttuneMail imports as non-sendable
AttuneMail replaces natively
- Create reusable campaign content in AttuneMail's template editor
- Build hosted signup forms and block-based landing pages, connect the form block, and publish them
- Configure guarded rules for schedules, contact dates, or list changes
- Choose the contact fields that shape personalization inside the email composer
Only if your business uses these
- Multi-step behavioral automations, CRM actions, branching, waits, SMS, scoring, and webhook workflows
- CRM deals, scores, site events, and custom-object relationships beyond the exported snapshot
- An offline archive of historical reports, automation history, and integration configuration
